About us
At CoreCapacity, our goal is to revolutionize core muscle training.
We help people, wherever they are, to improve physical and mental health by activating their core muscles. We believe that better core strength provides better performance, health, and quality of life.

About the Founder
Founder Tor Einar Sandvikmoen possesses a high level of professional expertise. He is a trained physiotherapist and certified at the highest level within the Neurac (Neuromuscular Activation) treatment method. He has previously educated and certified physiotherapists internationally and has been a member of the Norwegian Teaching Group associated with this environment. Sandvikmoen has experience as a former project manager and contributor. He has also contributed to the development of the Stimula treatment device and the Neurac treatment method. Sandvikmoen developed a special exercise for activating the innermost core muscle, Iliopsoas. This is used internationally by physiotherapists.
The competence in our team helps ensure the quality of the development of the CoreCapacity method. Our team of partners gives us confidence that we can reach our goals regarding further development work and research. We find that we can source the most important and necessary competence for this project in Norway and in Kristiansand, but we also bring in resources and expertise from abroad when necessary.
Our mission is to help people to better physical and mental health - wherever they are.
We see several signs of a paradigm shift in the debate around the understanding and importance of core muscles. We attempt to bridge the gap between old and new knowledge. Our contribution with pilot research happens through conscious choices of collaboration with various professional environments in Norway, to form a basis for a more holistic and interdisciplinary understanding of mechanisms in the body that we still do not fully understand.
Our method has been shown to give over 12% performance-enhancing effect for national team athletes measured by Olympiatoppen Sør and UiA on selected tests. This is more than double what other methods have achieved previously in just 8 weeks.
For most people, this can mean 15-20 meters extra on the golf drive. Or as for 5-time Norwegian champion in swimming Oskar Erklev; that you take gold in events you have never been a medal candidate in before.
CoreCapacity takes the lead in the paradigm shift within core training. We do this, among other things, by driving our own research. The results of the research are implemented directly in our digital platform.
Our platform offers a dynamic and personal adaptation for the best possible result, whether you are an athlete, exerciser, or an ordinary employee who wants better quality of life.

The Science Behind CoreCapacity
Our unique method is based on research and scientifically documented practices. Through extensive collaboration with experts in various fields, we have developed training methods that combine dynamic exercises with the latest scientific research on core muscles. We shift focus from static exercises often associated with pain, low dosage, and long holding time, to an innovative, effective, and research-based approach to core training. We show consideration and understanding for various considerations and needs in core training. We consciously avoid a pushy feel and let the body build itself up gradually to avoid injuries and pains.
CoreCapacity is not just about physical training – it is about building knowledge. Through our digital platform, we offer educational training videos, proven and experience-based training programs, supported by our own and existing research. Our goal is to give you as a user a meaningful experience that both motivates and promotes good perceived self-health. Forget the perfect body – the most important thing is how you experience your health.

Why Choose CoreCapacity

"CoreCapacity has given young paddlers in Kristiansand Kayak Club a completely new strength in their core muscles – something that has quickly yielded results in the form of better performances and medals internationally. I am convinced that this method can lift athletes at all levels. "Had I known about CoreCapacity when I myself was investing as a paddler, it could have made a big difference in my career. Now I see how the method gives young athletes clear progress and a solid foundation for further development. "With the digitalization of CoreCapacity, athletes and exercisers all over the world will be able to train the core in a new and effective way. Tor Einar's expertise and method can contribute to lifting both Norwegian and international sports."

Former Norwegian Champion in Kayaking
"All swimmers who were part of the CoreCapacity project set personal records during the NM long course this summer. The progress was significant for several of them. The athletes perceived that the exercises had great transfer value to swimming, especially for crawl and backstroke. The exercises were also perceived as challenging and "fun", and led to increased motivation and belief that they could perform better in the water. I would like to build further on this in land/base training for the swimmers in Vågsbygd SLK. -The collaboration was continued in 2025 and is formalized in 2026. Ed. note CoreCapacity"
Geir Thorstensen
Coach Vågsbygd SLK/Team Sør, 2024

"The sessions with CoreCapacity definitely increased the strength in the core muscles and had a direct transfer value to swimming; I improved all my times on backstroke and crawl by a good margin and took NM gold on events I have never been a medal candidate in before. Access to the training videos via CoreCapacity's app makes it optimal for me to adapt and log the core exercises in a busy training everyday life. My performances during NM in July 2024; Junior gold on 200 butterfly, 200 medley, 400 medley and 100 backstroke. Junior silver on 100 butterfly and bronze on 50 backstroke. Senior gold on 400 medley, silver on 200 butterfly and 4×200 freestyle relay, and bronze on 100 butterfly."
